Imagine this: an old milk factory, transformed into one of Southeast Asia’s largest Hyrox training grounds. Sounds epic? Because it is. Welcome to The Backyard.

The stations are laid out almost chronologically—even better than some real race courses. And yes, there are clear signs at each station telling you exactly how many laps to crush. No guesswork. Just work.

Four loops around the factory = 1 km.
Exit through the ‘Out’ door (hello, race arch energy) and re-enter through the ‘In’ door. Simple, smart, and race-perfect.

8 machines. Positioned near the ‘Out’ door.
Enough for everyone. No awkward “Is anyone using this?” moments.

Heads-up: The carpet is slightly slippery, so double-knot those shoes. But the quality is high—no bunching up like some race courses we’ve suffered through.

You’ll do 5 laps from the yellow line to the last pillar—40m per lap.

The Backyard is an absolute dream for any Hyrox athlete. I have no doubt this place will elevate the standard of Hyrox in Malaysia.
And for my Singapore athletes?
A weekend trip up north for a SIM session is absolutely worth it. There’s no gym with this scale or space in Singapore right now. If you’ve been frustrated by high race fees or crowded training spaces… this is your answer.
